FAQ
Ordering
How does ordering work?
Everything is made to order for a specific bake day. You order online, choose your pickup window at checkout, and collect it fresh.
When do I need to order by?
Order by 8pm the night before the bake. After that the dough is already mixed and the count is set.
What if something is sold out?
It's genuinely gone for that bake. Batches are limited by how much can be shaped by hand in a morning. Order earlier next time, or check back when the next bake opens.
Pickup and delivery
Where do I pick up?
Near Walker's Line and Mainway in Burlington. The exact address comes with your order confirmation email.
Do you deliver?
Local delivery across Burlington and Aldershot on Saturdays. Free over $65, otherwise $6.
What if I miss my pickup window?
Message us. We'll sort something out where we can, but bread doesn't wait well and we can't hold it indefinitely.
The bread
Is it real sourdough?
Yes. Naturally leavened with a live starter, no commercial yeast, fermented 18 to 24 hours.
How should I store it?
Cut side down on a board, at room temperature, for up to three days. Not in the fridge — that stales it faster. To keep it longer, slice and freeze it on day one.
Can I freeze it?
Yes, and you should if you won't finish it. Slice first, freeze in a bag, toast straight from frozen.
Allergens
Is anything gluten-free?
No. Everything here is wheat-based and made in a kitchen full of flour.
Where do I find allergen information?
On every product page, under "Ingredients + allergens" and in the "Good to know" section. Everything is made in a kitchen that also handles dairy, egg, nuts and sesame, so cross-contact is possible.
